What an absolute gift it was to start off the 2025 wedding season with these two!

The mere mention of an outdoor wedding in March in Upstate New York had their family members - and event coordinators - panicking. Upstaters know how unpredictable our weather is this time of year; will it be raining? Snowing? Sixty degrees? It was a perfect early spring day.

I walked in to the Adelphi library to a cool and calm Madeline. Lily from Make Me Fab putting the finishing touches on her makeup before removing pins from a head full of curls and brushing them in to perfect retro-bob.

After a first look with the groom overlooking Broadway, we strolled over to Bocage Champagne Bar on Phila for champagne, caviar and a sweet photos before an intimate ceremony in front of the Katrina Trask Staircase in Congress Park. Dad walked Maddy down the historic steps, Grandma officiated, Madeline and Martin exchanged rings and sealed it with a kiss.

Cocktail hour and reception were held at Salt and Char at the Adelphi. The food was wonderful (lamb popsicles!) - but the toasts, well-wishes, love and genuine admiration between the couple and their families was unforgettable.
